Watch a Compostable Plate Decompose

Posted on: Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 in: Compostable, News

You’re on this site because you’ve heard so much about compostable tableware and how the biggest advantage of them over styrofoam is that they decompose over time. Now have you ever actually watched a compostable product decompose? We wanted to show our viewers how the process works, so we filled two fish tanks with soil and added a compostable plate to one, while the other tank had a corn starch tray, styrofoam tray, and our compostable sugarcane bagasse tray. Watch the video to see what happens.
